Located in the middle of Central
America, Costa Rica is easy to reach.
Most major international carriers
conveniently serve San Jose, the capital
city. From San Jose you will travel
to the small town of Quepos, which is
only 4 kilometers from your home base
in Manuel Antonio. Quepos
is a scenic 3 hour drive from San Jose
or a short 25 minute flight. Other
options include renting a car or having
a van pick you up at the San Jose airport.
We will be happy to help you make
these arrangements.

Manuel
Antonio National Park is
small, yet impressive with
its large variety of flora
and fauna. There is
good reason why it is one
of the most visited parks
in Costa Rica. About
109 species of mammals call
the park home, including
the sloth, white
face monkey, howler monkey
and the charming Mono Titi.
The park is one of
the few remaining areas
in which this beautiful
endangered monkey can be
seen. Three hundred varieties of birds
and butterflies call this
home and you will be amazed
by them every day.

There
are 184 types of birds such as the toucan,
pelican, white heron, and many others.
It is possible to observe iguanas,
lizards, scurrying land crabs, and a
large variety of multi-colored frogs.
|
|
The
park offers several trails, varying
from 1 to 4 km that take you through
the rainforest and past a series of
small beaches. These beaches are
in small coves protected from the Pacific
currents.

Distinctive
Punto Catedral (Cathedral Point) takes
center stage in the Manuel Antonio landscape.
It was once an island, but thousands
of years of geological action connected
it to the mainland with a natural land
bridge.
It is
clear why one of every four tourists
who come to Costa Rica visit Manuel
Antonio National Park. The
breathtaking landscapes, lush tropical
rainforest, secluded sandy beaches .
this is the magic of Manuel Antonio.
